Oh… It’s getting darker again.
Not only today,
It started long ago. He said.

I reached,
I studied the trend.
It will continue.

Don’t sell your bold kit,
It will help you somewhere.
I tried it for long.

Where are you now?
Far better than before.
Ain’t it?

Go little more,
Soon you will reach.
I am sure.

Look around you.
Whose hand is empty?
Who has no reasons?

We have a big bag full!
A steep, a break and a slope,
Accept this truth.

Reasons to cry.
We forget the reasons to smile.
We cried, not smiled.

Yes; it may be difficult.
But you must try.
Learn to change.

This is for you,
It’s for me too,
For others if they wish.

  4. Very very nice... Change is hard for all of us... We like routine. We don't like things to change --yet most of the time, change is VERY good for all of us...

  5. __To use three of your lines, Pranavam... your fine thought.

    "accept this truth
    _we cried not smiled
    _learn to change"

  6. Always the hardest and bringing fear is change because we do not really know what it will bring.

  7. It is very hard to change when you get my age. I do try to be flexible and live every day to the fullest. You are a very wise young man. Always pleased when you visit. I have another young man that is a very talented writer from your country. I cannot remember how to spell his name, but will let you know next time. I doubt you know him.

  8. I like "Look around you. Whose hand is empty? Who has no reasons?" Nice.

  9. another nice one from you...

  10. Wonderful writing and a very important message.

  11. Thank you for stopping by my blog. I enjoyed this poem. There is always time for change, no matter how old you are. This was a great reminder.

  12. Change isn't easy but the world would be a better place if we all could change just a little. :)

  13. "We forget the reasons to smile."
So much said in just that one little line Pranavam - enough to keep one in deep thought for many days...
