A FROZEN THOUGHT

THIS IS NOT A POETRY TO SING WITH A TUNE

THIS IS NOT A POETRY TO MY DARLING GIRL

THIS IS NOT A POETRY TO EXPREES HAPPINESS

BUT LIFE OF TWO LITTLE SWEETIES IN MY CITY

I CAN REMEMBER THAT DAY WHEN I SAW THAT

TWO LITTLE LOVELY SWEETIES IN MY WAY

WITH THEIR HANDS FULL OF RED ROSES

ROAMING ON THE CHURCH STREET WITH SCURRY

THE PEOPLE CALL THEM BY THE NAME ‘ORPHAN'

"THEY ARE ROAMING THERE FOR THEIR BREAD"

ARE NOT EVEN COMPLAIN FOR THEIR STIPULATION

BUT THEY ARE SATISFIED WITHOUT ANY GRIEF

BUT WE CAN READ THEIR PAINFUL CONDITION,

WE CAN FEEL THEIR STOLEN CHILDHOOD'S HAPPINESS,

THEIR DREAMS, ENJOYMENTS, PLAY, FUN…….

Oh! MY LORD "AREN'T THEY EVEN ELIGIBLE FOR THESE?"

  2. I rote this in another way...

NOT A POETRY TO PLAY ON TUNE

OR A NOTE TO MY DEAREST GIRL

A LOT NOT ABOUT WORLD OF HAPPINESS

BUT LIFE OF TWO LITTLE SWEETIES

I REMEMBER THE DAY I SAW THEM

THE TWO LITTLE SWEETIES IN MY WAY

THEIR HANDS FULL OF ROSES IN RED

RAISED TOWARDS EVERY FACE ON STREET

‘ORPHAN', WHAT THESE PEOPLE CALL THEM

"WANDERING DAY AND NIGHT FOR THEIR BREAD"

NO CRIES OR COMPLAIN FOR THEIR STIPULATION

APETITE SATISFIED FOR A SLEEP OF NIGHT

I SEE THE PAIN, IN THEIR SHADY EYES,

AND THEN STOLEN CHILDHOOD, AT THEIR HEART,

THEY TOO HAD DREAMS, PLAY, FUN.. I SUPPOSE,

"AND LORD, WHO ELSE ARE ELIGIBLE, IF NOT THEM?"

I couldn't resist the thought. Hope you like it..
